Hey there! This week, we're diving into what it truly means to be a Hogarth Kingeekuk Sr. Memorial Husky. Our Facebook page for this newsletter is open for comments, and I'd love for you to share your ideas for an acronym for the word "Husky" in the comments section. From my time spent in Savoonga, I've come up with an acronym that I believe perfectly encapsulates the amazing students and staff at our school. Can't wait to hear your thoughts!
I believe Huskies are:
H-Honorable
U-United
S-Scholars
K-Kind
Y-Yupik

Hey Huskies!
Tundra Health and Last Frontier Eye Care will be on site next week!
They provide free vision screenings, eye exams, and glasses for Savoonga students. As well as paid exams for community members.
If you have not filled out a consent form (or screening opt OUT form), please fill one out in the front office at school.
Stay Safe Huskies!
